If you are viewing this page through the Feedback menu on the OmniGuard App, images on the page might not display correctly on your device. You can tap here to open up in a separate browser window - this will take you out of the OmniGuard app. Use your device's back button to return to OmniGuard.
The OmniGuard Live Screen provides you with an overview of the current status of alerts and up to date information on the position of responders, assets and other checked-in users. OmniGuard's Live screen works in tandem with Command's Live Screen to allow response teams to co-ordinate responses to alerts quickly and efficiently.
Your location on the map is represented by the blue dot which appears in the middle of the screen by default.
Tapping on an icon (other than the blue dot) will bring up the details of that icon
Further detail on how to respond to alerts is in the Managing alerts in OmniGuard guide
The other functions available in the OmniGuard screen (clockwise from top left):

- Previous/Next buttons;

- Zoom buttons;
OmniGuard map
The OmniGuard map gives you a visual and real-time representation of:
- Your location on the map (blue dot);
Once you are logged into OmniGuard, your location is shared with other responders using OmniGuard as well as the Command Live Screen; - The location of other responders who are logged into OmniGuard;
- The location of SafeZone users who have raised alerts showing which alert button was pressed;
- The location of SafeZone users who are checked-in to the SafeZone App;
By default, these users are hidden on the map (to help conserve battery consumption). To display these users, tap on Menu -> Show Checkins;
OmniGuard will display your location accuracy represented by a blue circle around the blue dot. The smaller the circle, the more accurate your location. To see your location accuracy in metres, please see the guide on Diagnostics
The location of SafeZone and other OmniGuard users may update if the users are on the move or their GPS location updates due to location accuracy and tri-angulation from the mobile network.
Use 1-finger on the screen to move around on the map. Use 2-fingers to zoom-in (pinch with your fingers) and zoom-out (spread your fingers)

Previous/Next buttons
The previous and next buttons allow you to toggle between multiple alerts and check-ins on screen.

To toggle between checked-in users, you will need to select a checked-in user either by tapping on a user's check-in icon on the map or by tapping on Menu -> Check Ins -> tapping on a user in the list -> Show On Map. You can then use the previous/next buttons to toggle between checked-in users (provided there's more than 1 checked-in user)
Map/Satellite View button
OmniGuard provides 3 different views:
- Map View - when logging into OmniGuard, you will be presented with the Map view by default. This view is designed to provide security responders with names of landmarks and businesses to help co-ordinate responses to alerts. It also conserves battery consumption
- Satellite View - switching to Satellite view allows security responders to understand the environment.
- Map and Satellite view - this view combines both map and satellite views.
Tapping on the map/satellite button in the top right will cycle between the views.
Upon logging out and logging back into OmniGuard, you will be presented with the map view again.
My Location
OmniGuard can display your location on the app using 3 modes:
- Free-move (default) - when logging into OmniGuard, you will be presented with your location in the centre on the screen by default.
- Centred (North-oriented) - tapping on the My Location button once will change your location view to Centred (North-oriented) mode. If you move around, the map in OmniGuard will move and the blue dot will stay in the centre.
