Permissions Overview
Permissions are the individual items that can be turned on or off for users depending on their required access.
The permissions screen shows which roles are linked to each permission in the system.
Roles are the functional groupings of a number of permissions to perform tasks in the system.
Example:
A person who needs to send mass communications will need a number of individual permissions enabled. The specifics will vary based on your own organizations policies, however examples are:
- View Notification Templates
- View Notification Template Categories
- Send Notification Templates
- View Closed User Groups
- View Subscription Groups
The above individual permissions can be grouped into a "Notifier" Role.
