Subscriptions Groups - Guest SMS Self-sign-up

Overview

Guest Subscriptions allows you to manage users who sign-up for notifications from the SafeZone system by SMS. The SMS sign-up is a self-service tool for guests or contractors visiting your organization to sign up for emergency alerts on a time-limited basis. 

To sign up, visitors will simply need to send an SMS with your organization's unique code and subscription group to our service number.

After signing up, visitors will be sent a (or up to 3) confirmation messages and at the expiry of their subscription they will receive a stop message.

Components

• Organization Prefix Code - Allocated upon setup of the service by CriticalArc's Customer Success Team (Paid License Required)
• Subscription Group Code - A combination of your Organization Prefix Code and a unique ID for your visitor subscription Group.
• Start Messages -  Welcome messages (up to 3) to be sent to the end user to confirm their sign-up
• Stop Message - Message which is sent to the visitor to confirm their subscription has ended and data has been removed.

Going to Admin - Notifications - Guest Subscriptions will show a list of any Subscriptions Groups.

The list shows:

• Name Clickable name of the subscription group which takes you to the details of that group
• Code Unique code to be used by visitors to subscribe to the group
• Enabled Whether the campaign is live or not
• Subscribers Clickable button to take you to the subscribed user list

Setting up Subscription Groups

1. Ensure you have a license in place to use the SMS Self-Sign Up service (speak with your Customer Success Manager for assistance)
2. Verify your Organization Code with your Customer Success Manager who will add it to your account
3. Go to Admin - Notifications - Guest Subscriptions and click "Create Subscription Group"
   Note: if "Unable to load..." message appears as below, the Organization code may not have been loaded and you should contact your Customer Success Manager.
   
4. Complete the Subscription Group page that appears

   • Code - You will see the first part of the Code is completed with your Organization's Prefix.
     Add (ideally a hyphen then) the subscription identifier to denote the subscription type. E.g. Visitor /  OpenDay / Matchday / Contractor / etc... When combined together you will see something like:  "UNI-Contractor"
     NOTE: No spaces are permitted in the code.

   • Name - Insert a reference name for the Subscription Group 
   • Signup Duration - Set how long visitors will remain in the group before automatically being removed
   • Start Messages - Add a welcome message for the Subscription Service (up to 3x140 character messages available). To add more messages click the "Add Start Message" button. 
   • Stop Message - Add a message which will be sent to the user when they are unsubscribed
5. Ensure "Is Enabled" is checked to make the setup live
6. Click "Save" to confirm or "Cancel" to go back.
