Indoor Positioning in the Live Screen

Overview

Where indoor positioning is in place and linked to a Region, floorplans can be displayed on the Live screen in addition to a floor selection tool in the top left of the map.

General Floor Plan Behavior

• The default map setting is for not showing floor plans, just the satellite view with the floor selection tool showing "Outside / No Level"
• When you click on an alert or check-in (either through the lists on the left of the screen or directly on the map), SafeZone will immediately select the correct floorplan for their location.
• Users not confirmed as on that floor will then display with a transparent icon  
  Note: this could include users with Bluetooth / WiFi turned off and therefore not able to be positioned using the Indoor Positioning Technology even if they are located there.
• When outside / no level is selected, all floorplans will be hidden. and users who have an indoor location confirmed will appear with the transparent icon.

If you want to see at a glance who is on which floor, you can use the Annotations feature in the Live screen Settings.

1. Click on the settings cog at the top right of the screen

2. In the annotations section, select "Full name" radial button and then check the "Include level where available" button

3. The map will then appear with the level shown in brackets next to the user's name
