QuickViews

A QuickView is a collection of live settings that can be saved, shared and applied to the Live screen in Command. QuickViews are accessed via a new picker in the top right-hand side of the Live screen.

QuickViews make it quicker and easier to view/hide information on the live screen as well as jump to certain locations.

The following values can be included in a saved QuickView:

Map location & zoom level (to jump to a specific country/camps, for example)

Map display mode (ie roadmap or satellite)

Map layers (eg pre-configured cordons, first aid kits, bleed/trauma kits, etc)

Map features (eg points of interest, roads, landscape elements, etc)

User group filters (for second tier responder coordination, for example)

Alerts (show/hide)

Check-ins (show/hide)

Responders (show/hide)

List Filters for alerts, responders, vehicles and check-ins (these are the filters which can be set on the left hand pane on the Live screen)

Creating a QuickView

To create a quick view, configure the live screen settings how you would like it and then they click on the QuickViews dropdown and select the Save As New View option. 

A Create QuickView overlay form will appear with the current value against each Live screen setting that can be included in the QuickView.

The settings are displayed in 3 groups:

Map Display, Map Filters and List Filters. For easier selection, these and can be collapsed and expanded.

You can choose to include a setting by checking the Include in QuickView checkbox beside the desired setting and then clicking Save to create the QuickView, or Cancel to exit the form and ignore changes.

After saving, the QuickView is saved and will be available to you and also other Command users when they reload their Live screen.

The QuickView is displayed in alphabetical order in the dropdown.

Note: When you apply a QuickView, any settings that are NOT included in that QuickView remain unchanged on the Live screen.

Editing/Deleting a QuickView

Edit a QuickView by first selecting the QuickView from the QuickViews dropdown. Make any changes to the Live screen to the way you would like it (such as moving the map location or adding/removing a map layer) and then click on the QuickViews dropdown again and the option Update View will be displayed.

Select the Update View option and the Edit QuickView overlay will be displayed:

Note: Only Admin users can edit a QuickView including those they did not create, the following messages will appear if non-admin users try to edit a QuickView.

Delete a QuickView by following above steps to get to the Edit QuickView overlay and click on Delete. There will be a delete confirmation prompt where user can proceed with the deletion or cancel.
