This page will step you through (a recommended order of) the guides on how to set up SafeZone which is especially useful if you are setting up SafeZone from scratch. Clicking on a link will open the page up in a new browser tab.
General SafeZone overview
The guides below run through an overview of the SafeZone Live Screen and Menu bar
Check-Ins allows you to send targeted messages to users who have checked-in on the SafeZone app and muster them through the use of Muster Zones.
History allows you to view the history of alerts, check-ins, heatmaps and notification messages that have been sent out through Command.
Setting up SafeZone
Setting up the Help, First Aid and Emergency (Duress) buttons allow you to configure the behaviour of the SafeZone app
Configuring the Information button allows you to add safety information to the SafeZone and OmniGuard apps which can direct the user to your organisation's webpage on safety and security procedures during emergency incidents.
The alert and information buttons can be customised to change when users are in particular regions by configuring the Information buttons in the Region Groups (below).
Region Groups allow you to group regions together based on their geographical location and to customise the behaviour of the SafeZone alert and Information buttons once users are within the geo-fences of those regions.
Once the region groups are set up, creating Regions allows you to create the geofences where your users can raise alerts and check-in
Users
You can add users into SafeZone either by using the Register User feature or by doing a bulk upload through the Pre-Registrations feature. You can also set up the users' permissions once they have completed their registration through the SafeZone app.
User Groups and Notifications
Once the users have been added to the system, you can add them into User Groups which allows you to send out mass notification messages. To streamline sending out mass notifications (especially during emergency incidents), it is recommended to create Notification Templates to have your templates pre-approved by your organisation's communications team. Notification Template Categories allows you to group your templates into groups to be easier to locate in the templates list and also allow for substitution tags to minimise the duplication of templates.
Global Settings
As well as being able to customise the SafeZone alert buttons (as mentioned above), Global Settings allows you to set up Two Way Messaging, Alert Escalation Workflows, SafeZone App Settings (branding and customing the SafeZone App) and customising Email Templates

Tip Reporting
Tip Reporting allows the SafeZone users to report issues to security for Damage/Repair, Theft, Mental Health and more
Alerts
Now that you have set up Command, you can view and respond to alerts that are sent through the SafeZone App
Notify
Once you have set up your notification templates, you can then use SafeZone for sending out mass notifications using the Notify tab. Notify allows you to send out adhoc messages or template messages (depending on your user permissions)
