Overview
The Alert History page allows an authorized user to search for alerts raised in the SafeZone system and apply filters including:
- SafeZone Region
- SafeZone Region Group
- Date and Time Range
- Alert Type (e.g. First Aid, Emergency, Check-in, Test, etc...)
- Resolution Category
- User
- User Group
Running an Alert History Report
- Click on History - Alert History (the screenshot below is for illustration purposes only)

In the "Regions" section, you can specify which areas to report on, or for a global report, leave it as the default with all selected.
Outside Regions - If you have allowed for the SafeZone alert buttons to be raised outside of your regions, you can include those alerts raised by ticking the check-box for "Outside regions". (Refer to: Global Settings - Help, First Aid and Duress Alert Settings for more information). - In the "Time Period" section you can specify a date and time range to the report.
- In "Alert Type" you can select which alerts should appear in the report, for example you can specify only first aid alerts are shown. You can also report on any test alerts by ticking the check-box for "Include Test Alerts" (Test Alerts are any alerts that have been sent whilst the user was in a region that was set up as a Test region)

In the "Resolution Category" section you can use the drop list to report only on alerts closed with a specific category.
- The "Users" section is where you can specify either:
- All Users to show for your entire population
- User Groups to show one or more groups - Start typing to get a list of possible matches on name, email address, or phone number
- Specific User to show alerts from a particular user - Start typing to get a list of possible matches on name, email address, or phone number
- All Users to show for your entire population
- Once you have entered in the search criteria click on Run Report in the top right to generate the report.

The Alert History report will appear once it has generated the report data.
Alert History Report Contents
The Alert History Report includes the following key areas:
Table
The table shown on screen will show 5 columns:
- Raised - Date and time the alert was raised (NOTE this is according to your local time per your computer settings)
- Last Updated - When the alert last had interaction (e.g. Resolution, Cancellation, Restoration)
- Alert Icon - showing the type of alert raised (Duress, First Aid, Help, Check-in, First Aid, Police Call, Ambulance Call)
- Raiser - the user who raised the alert and their phone number
- Details button - takes you to a screen with more information on the alert and a geographical playback (More information later on this page - here)
Parameters
The parameters section summarizes the filters used when creating the report and can be expanded and re-collapsed using the down arrow at the top right of the section.
Alert Details
By clicking on the "Details" button next to a specific alert in the table, you are taken to the alert details page.
In the alert details page, you can:
- View a playback of the alert showing the movements of the alert raiser and any OmniGuard responders on a map
- View the profile information of the alert raiser
- View the Alert Transitions from Raised to Acknowledgement and Resolution (including any user cancelllations or restoration and re-resolving of alerts
- View the responder's resolution category and notes
- View any Messages sent during the alert between the responder team and the alert raiser.
Playback
At the top of the screen and shown above is the playback menu with the following areas
Floor selector at the top-left of the map. This can be used where you have indoor positioning in place, to show the movement of the alert or response teams in 3D.
If no indoor positioning is in place for that building, or the user has not enabled it on their device, the default will be a solid icon across all floors. |

Map type selector is at the top right of the screen where you can choose between a standard map (with or without terrain) or a satellite view (with or without labels) |

Plus and Minus icons at the bottom left of the map to zoom in and out as required. You can also control zoom from your mouse wheel, or by using the +/- keys on your keyboard |

Export to Excel button to create an export of the alert details including key timestamps for the alert transition and GPS location updates with timestamps for the alert raiser | |

Underneath the timestamp you can choose to:

Alert Raiser, Transitions and Message History
Underneath the playback window is are sections containing the alert raiser's profile information, the alert transitions and any messages exchanged during the incident.
Exporting Alert History Reports
The Export button allows you to extract a report of all alerts that appear in the Alert History table. To export a report in Excel:
- Click the "Export" button at the the top right of the Alert History Report
- This will generate a report showing the details of all alerts raised in the system during the requested timeframe. The report will download to your computer through your web browser.

The report will contain the following:
- Raiser Name
- Raiser Email Address
- Alert Type
- State (e.g. Acknowledged, Resolved, Cancelled)
- Resolver Name
- Resolver Email Address
- Whether the alert was a "Test Alert"
- Last Updated Timestamp
- Raised Timestamp
- Acknowledged Timestamp
- Cancelled Timestamp
- Resolved Timestamp
- Resolution Category
- GPS coordinates of the alert when raised
