Notify

Notifications are messages that can be broadcast from SafeZone Command either to all users (registered and/or pre-registered) in SafeZone or to specific user groups.

Pre-requisite: In order to be able to send out notifications, you (and other Command users) will need to have appropriate permissions to be able to send them. Please refer to the Editing user permissions guide to ensure your permissions for Notifications are not set to "Cannot send notifications".

If you do not have user groups set up, the notifications you send out will go to all users in the system. Please refer to the User Groups guide to create user groups for targeted messages.

For Command users that have the permission set to "Send templates only", you will need to create notification templates as the users will only be able to send out pre-set templates from Command. Please refer to the Notification Templates and Notification Template Categories to create templates and template categories (template categories do not need to be created in order for notification templates to work)

To access the Notify page, click on Notify. The options that appear depend on what permissions you have set for your account and what notification templates have been set up (the screenshot below is for illustration purposes only)
