The user list allows you to perform bulk actions to users in the User List. You can also be directed to the Bulk Actions screen from the Live screen if you have done a screen capture on checked in users.
Important: Bulk actions can only apply to up to 100 records at at time and be sent to users who:
- are not disabled or deleted from SafeZone
- are not SafeZone alliance guests (ie members of another organisation that use SafeZone and have raised alerts while in one of your regions/geofences)

The Send Invites and Send Reminders features will use the Email Templates that you have set up in the Global Settings. SafeZone provides default ones with the Command software.

Push Messaging
Push messaging allows you to send a one-way message to a SafeZone user's device.
Important: In order to send Push messages through the Bulk Action menu, you must have Message Administrator enabled in your permissions. For instructions on how to set up your permissions correctly, please see the guide on Editing user permissions
To send a Bulk Action Push Message:
- Click on Admin -> Users -> User List to bring up the User List
- If you would like to filter users in the list to perform the bulk action on, you can filter on the user list screen (eg. If you wanted to perform a Bulk Action to users in the First Aid Officers group, you can click on the drop-down for the user group and select First Aid Officers from the list. The user list will display the users who are members of that group)
- Click on Bulk Action in the top-right
- Click on Push Messaging
- The Bulk Push Message Screen will appear and we will walk through each page in separate sections
Recipients
The recipients of the Bulk Push message are the users who you intend to receive the message. As the message is a push message, the users will receive the message but are unable to respond to the message. The users can receive the push message through the SafeZone or OmniGuard apps (or both if a responder has logged into both apps)
To select the recipients of the bulk action:
- Tick the check-box next to the recipients' names who you want to receive the message
- Click on the Next button in the bottom right to go to the Bulk Push Message screen. If you need to change the list of users to send the Bulk Action to either tick the checkboxes to the left of the email addresses or click on the Back to Users List button to go back to the user list and filter the user list to get the recipients
Message
- The Bulk Push Message screen is where you can compose your message. The message has a character limit of 213 characters (including the Title)
- You can add a title to your message in the Title (optional) field
- Compose your message in the Message field
- If you wish to play an alert sound when the message is sent, tick the checkbox for Play alert sound
- Click on the Next button to go to the Review screen or click on the Back button to go back to the previous page
Review
- The Review page will allow you to review the message before sending it out
- Once you have reviewed the message and want to send it, click on the Send Message button to send the message. If you need to change the message click on the Back button to go back to the Message screen
Confirmation
- The message will then be sent to the users. The message from the steps above appears in the screenshot below:
If you had chosen to play the alert sound, an audible alert will accompany the message. - The Confirmation screen will let you know if the transmission of the message was successful.
- You can also view the details of the message that was sent by clicking on the "here" link. You will be directed to the Notifications history in the History menu
- To go back to the User List, click on the Back to Users List button.
Send Invites
The Send Invites Bulk Action allows you to send invitation emails to users who have been added to SafeZone through the Register User feature or the Pre-Registrations feature and have not completed their registration for SafeZone.
To send a Bulk Action Send Invites:
- Click on Admin -> Users -> User List to bring up the User List
- If you would like to filter users in the list to perform the bulk action on, you can filter on the user list screen (eg. If you wanted to perform a Bulk Action for users in the First Aid Officers group, you can click on the drop-down for the user group and select First Aid Officers from the list. The user list will display the users who are members of that group)
- Click on Bulk Action in the top-right
- Click on Send Invites
- The Bulk Invite Users screen will appear and we will walk through each page in separate sections:
Recipients
To select the recipients of the invites:
- Tick the check-box next to the recipients' names who you want to receive the invitation email
- Click on the Next button in the bottom right to go to the Bulk Invite Users screen. If you need to change the list of users to send invites to, either tick the checkboxes to the left of the email addresses or click on the Back to Users List button to go back to the user list and filter the user list to get the recipients
Review
- The Review page will allow you to review how many invites will be sent out.
- Once you have reviewed the number of invites and want to send them, click on the Send Invites button to send the invitation emails. If you need to change the number of recipients click on the Back button to go back to the Recipients screen
Confirmation
- The Confirmation screen will provide a confirmation as to how many invites were sent out to the recipients you have selected.
- To go back to the User List, click on the Back to Users List button.
- The recipients will receive an invitation email from SafeZone which includes their login details.
If your organisation does not use Single Sign-On (as per the screenshot below), the SafeZone user will be given a temporary password which they can use to register their account.
If your organisation uses Single Sign-On, the invitation email will inform them to use their organisation's credentials.
Send Reminders
The recipients of the Send Reminders are users who have been added to SafeZone, have not completed their SafeZone registration on their mobile device and have previously been sent an invitation email to complete their registration for SafeZone.
To send a Bulk Action Send Reminders:
- Click on Admin -> Users -> User List to bring up the User List
- If you would like to filter users in the list to perform the bulk action on, you can filter on the user list screen (eg. If you wanted to perform a Bulk Action for users in the First Aid Officers group, you can click on the drop-down for the user group and select First Aid Officers from the list. The user list will display the users who are members of that group)
- Click on Bulk Action in the top-right
- Click on Send Reminders
- The Bulk Remind Users will appear and we will walk through each page in separate sections:
